In the mid-1970s, Peavey’s loudspeaker cabinets and P.A. systems were becoming hugely popular, but loudspeaker technology couldn’t keep up with Hartley Peavey. So he figured out how to make them more reliable and better-sounding.
Peavey revolutionized the loudspeaker market by creating the most dependable speaker on the market. This spirit of innovation and advancement has continued strongly and led to Peavey’s expansion into building larger, more powerful loudspeakers, arrays, audio effects processors and even DJ gear.
